IP Rating System |
The code letters IP of BS EN 60529:1989 refer to International Protection as applicable to enclosure or electrical equipment with a rated voltage not exceeding 72.5KV. The code and
rating system is composed by the two letters IP followed by two numbers:
the first one is the Code Number for dust protection (Numeral from 0 to
6), the second one is the Code Number for water protection (Numeral from 0
to 8) |
